Thought

Love one another without compare

The command to our ears is clear

Serving to last days complete

With humility wash another’s feet

Last supper share in fellowship

Bread and wine to eat and sip

In sacred evening mystic meal

Corporeal union in depth feel

Mixed uncertain joy and sorrow

Knows not what arrives tomorrow

But for now we have our daily bread

And on loving presence we are fed

Prayer

O Divine Presence, closer than breathing and the author of breath, grant that I may see and serve Thee in all names and forms, delighting in your joyous company always in communion with Thee.
