Thought
Subtle seeds hold secrets strange,
Growth and beauty, they arrange.
Silently working hour by hour
Unfolding glorious bud and flower.
A part is played by sun and soil,
But it’s the plant that seems to toil.
At Nature’s pace in Her sweet time
She dresses Her forms for every clime.
Perfumed scents are sent for free,
A landing place for hovering bee
In gorgeous petal clothes arrayed,
No entry fee for views displayed.
Generous gifts for smell and sight,
Allows hands to pick instead of fight.
Like flowers too and their seeds inside,
Share our gifts and let none be denied.
Prayer
O Lord of Life, you unfold from within. I feel this with every step and breath. May I observe and appreciate your beauty and be thankful for every grace. May we share Your free gifts selflessly with others.
