Thought
Clothed are lilies in valleys down
Fed Birds glide on currents blown
Breath and heart-beat all supplied
No moving body does collide
Solar time as viewed by us
Is like a journey on a bus
On moving bus old lady clings
Anxious of what her travel brings
“Will shops be closed after three?
Will I be late for my noon tea?”
Whatever strain we put on face
Will not increase the bus’s pace
No matter how we clench a fist
It will not help our shopping list
Things that clearly can’t be changed
Should be released and re-arranged
Prayer
O Lord of past, present and future decrease my fear, increase my faith that I may feel your constant presence in every breath and moment that You appear and arrange.
