Sinister visitors knock on door
Let them in or resist their call?
“Tell your names – what are you about?”
“Fear is my name and my sister doubt.”
“What can I give to help your plight?”
“Strength and unity to end the fight.
Give us Faith to know and love
Then we can live on plane above.”
“Please show us that no other’s around
Gods playing with gods on sacred ground
Where angels make the pathways straight
Where equally each his own is great.”
Prayer
O Lord dispel the darkness of my fear and dry up the disease of doubt. Grant me faith that the future unfolds in your own time at your own pace and the knowledge that your will prevails for the best.
