What signs and marks there to know
When I have reached the perfect goal?
How will I know I’m on the way
That I have gone without delay?
What comes and goes and flows
Accept with thanks and be content
Thanks for things we notice not
Deep appreciation for our lot
Compassion for the body aches
Drying tears for sad mistakes
Listening to a suffering mind
Offering words that are kind
When criticism’s left behind
Love comforts those estranged
When in every face I see
God’s loving face look back at me
When you shine with loves pure light
Know your tread was straight and right
Prayer
O Lord let me accept the inevitable things; let my desires be all fulfilled in Thee. Let me see you equally present in all beings that I may adore and worship Thee. Grant me the sight of your loving face wherever I may look.
