Thought

Grasping dreams from outside

Assumes a hollow blank inside

Expecting a future near in view

To fill with doubt, not certitude

Waiting for it to appear today

And if not, then one day away

Looking out for its delivery

Peeping, wishing expectantly

Longing only away turns

When mind fills as it learns

Desire and anger only come

Seen as things opposing one

But when Beloved only there

These enemies will disappear

Their certificate of power gone

When glorious unity seen alone

Prayer

O Lord , thank you for revealing yourself as that Supreme fullness that displaces the enemies of desire and anger, filling every space and appearing to move all heads, limbs and hearts. May my heart be ever filled with Thy flowing presence and oneness.
