Dec 22, 2020 || Daily Thought & Prayer

Thought

Empty rooms and dusty floors

Workspace empty - shut doors

World connected woven web

No one talks but texts instead

You may think world is changed

But old remnants have remained

An orphan’s cry may still be heard

Pain and suffering still preserved

Think of those who sleep on streets

Squares of cardboard as their sheets

Beyond yuletide hearth and home

Spare a thought for those who roam

In house of flesh in vagabond guise

In suffering children’s’ anxious cries

Lord of universe stands full before

Awaiting worship’s knock on door

Prayer

O Lord I thank thee for the privilege of service. May I not be blind and oblivious to Thee in all Thy presented dressed up forms. May thankfulness be my warmth, compassion my shield and love be my sustenance.
