Meandering mind in sundry thought
Recall the lines that thinking brought.
Through objects random ranging wide
Are only what sense gates provide.
What is the current supplied on tap?
That fills mind’s empty thinking gap.
Whence did it come, what’s its source?
That life energy that knows its course
In time and space and causally caged
What was it before it thus engaged?
Was it infinite and unbounded free?
Was it bright pure timeless energy?
Could it be like limitless sphere of sun?
Whose sunshine reaches all direction?
Will struggle for our freedom continue?
If framework shifts for unspoiled view?
Prayer
O Infinite Life Energy that always beams, by Thy grace, let me resolve to shift my small and narrow view by transcending the clouds of doubt, fear and desire to see Thee ever shining as the source of all energy.
