Meandering mind in sundry thought

Recall the lines that thinking brought

Through objects random ranging wide

Are only what sense gates provide.

What is the current supplied on tap

That fill minds’s empty thinking gap?

Whence did it come, what’s its source

That life energy that knows its course?

In time and space and causally caged

What was it before it thus engaged?

Was it infinite and unbounded free?

Was it bright pure timeless energy?

Could it be like limitless sphere of sun

Whose rays reach to every direction?

Will struggle for our freedom continue

If framework shifts for unspoiled view?

Prayer

O Infinite Life Energy that always beams, by Thy grace, let me resolve to shift

My small and narrow view by transcending the clouds of doubt, fear and desire

to see Thee ever shining as the source of all energy.
