Thought
Times of war, loss and deaths
Bring on moods of desperateness
No one knows the high and low
That loneliness can hardly show
But if cloud of pity stands aside
There the comforter does abide
For by grace it can be shown
No moment are you all alone
When rain falls in seasons due
Soaked to the bone wet through
No refuge found or cover shelter
No umbrella or a friendly helper
But if victim mode is set aside
There dear protector does abide
For by grace it can be shown
No moment are you all alone
Prayer
O Lord constant companion, sorrow only comes when my soul is not settled in Thee and on dwelling in Thee. For you are my only refuge, no one and nothing else is adequate or lasting. Thou comforter, thou refuge, thou companion.
