Angel visitors we in passing
In a dream we are surpassing
When we feel misunderstood
Believe that it is for our good
Protecting us from our deceit
Humility’s gift avoids conceit
Under trials we must endure
We seek Beloved all the more
When condemned as wrong
Inner life grows ever strong
Established in glorious thought,
No consoling from others sought
No trouble from desire and fear,
For You, Beloved One, are near

O Lord thank you for all “trials and adversities” in Thy gymnasium of life; they have made me stronger and you have revealed that they are sporting opportunities to play Thy loving game with Thee.
