Thought

What inspires the mind of man?

Legacies in history’s span?

Is it those who blazed a trail?

Or the ravagers that we hail?

Museum relics of dramas past

Can teach to employ contrast

Of Virtuous traits that assist

And painful vices to resist

Our inner supermarket stocks

Material for our building blocks

Fresh habits forming steadily

Towards our freedom patiently

With divine grace as our energy

Supplied for our use constantly

Will yield the fruits of paradise

Without anxiety as the price!

Prayer

O infinite one who has all abundant graces in thee. You know what is immediately required for me and what should be saved and dispensed in your own time and at your own pace. Grant me the patience for thy grace and glory to unfold gently that I may enjoy thy vision incrementally.
