Thought
Icy cold sharp bites the skin
Wrap up well from head to chin
Invited in for hands to thaw
Make strangers warmer than before
Condemning none go on your way
Spread loving odour where you stay
If you cannot stretch the helping hand
Palms folded bless “may goodness land”
Judge not each day from harvested
But by the seeds that you planted
The future belongs to who believed
In the beauty of their dreams received
Prayer
O Lord proximity to you warms me to the core. Yet, you are ever close like the welcoming fire that warms in winter. Grant that I may always gain warmth and comfort by practicing Thy presence until it is effortless. May I always spread this warmth to others, leaving them happier than before.
