Thought
Two precious golden rules obey
“It is my mind”, don’t ever say
“It belongs to Him” now do assert
And to His sitting room revert
So clean and decorate with flowers
In silent meditation hours
The second rule you must observe
Your view of body please reserve
“I am eating and bathing,” never say
For body is temple for His stay
So in cleaning His temple facilities
Have no concern for sick disease
Prayer
O Lord when I forget your presence in your temple of body and throne room of mind, I forget that I am not the owner or agent and therefore lose faith. Grant that my faith in Thee may never waver.
