Upright blades of grass stir not
Nor daisies grow in summers hot
No tree grows from sapling small
No leaf can form or insect crawl
Without the Will Divine
No creature falls on good or bad
Worst times or best they ever had
No destiny forecast in stars
No special skills to claim as ours
Without the will Divine
Creatures cannot act alone
Nor move a muscle or a bone
Pump heart or food convert
Be either out or introvert
Without the will Divine
No stirring powers for the great
No success or higher social state
No wealth or children to obtain
No learned knowledge to sustain
Without the will Divine
Movements are Divine expressed
Lord knows the future and the rest
All activities Lord will complete
When we surrender at His feet
To the will Divine
Prayer
O Lord, I surrender hands heart and head to Thee. When I stand in your way out of false puffed pride and claim agency, I deny the truth. Let Thy irresistible will be done!
