Thought
Beyond imagining universe vast
Grasping frame we stand aghast
Whirling spirals, spinning dots
Canvas black, with shiny spots
Nearest disc thirty billion years
By that time maybe it disappears
Senses catch scenes scattered wide
Truth beyond blind spots will hide
To know totality and secret of it all
See space as intervals on skin overall
To opened eyes of Cosmic body sees
Sparkling jewels as Lord’s accessories
A thousand arms, eyes, legs and heads
Look like filaments of luminous threads
But with vision joy leaps like dawning days
Of Divine parts playing parts in vast arrays
Prayer
O Lord, in my small exchanges of love with Thee, my ignorance blinds me to your overwhelming totality; yet in your chosen moments of grace, you give me, your helpless child, a glimpse of your grandeur to elevate my soul. Grant me this from time to time when my mind lags behind and gets dragged down.
