Sweet magnolias blossoms start
In finery arrayed untimed to last
To please the eye and fill the heart
When gone with no regret of past
Divine fragrant coloured array
Echoing how my inner flower
Seems slowly to open every day
Emanating Self’s radiant power
Root and branch and flower and seed
Supplied gifts for my sense to feed
Lessons in front on full display
As seasons pass by on their way
Prayer
Lord, my heart and my lips open to welcome Thee. Fill my soul with Thy fragrance that I may ever delight in Thy Beauty.
