All biased views of race and kin
Expressed in hateful speech.
Display for all soul laden sin,
Exemplary lessons for to teach.
Defensive angry words will tell,
From egos inflated woefully so.
Words can turn to poisoned well,
When love and charity forfeit go.
But if you were to look inside
Embracing all with love divine
Liquid sour transforms to wine.
Beholding place where none divide.
What people say, what people think,
Like watery drops on feathered down
Views designed to make you shrink,
Just glide away when love is shown.
Prayer
Lord , grant me the insight to see and feel your inner presence in those who malign, defame and seek to destroy. May they be blessed. May I see Thy sport and worship at thy shrine of flesh and blood where you reside in every heart.
