Thought
Thou wilt keep in perfect peace
Whose mind is stayed on Thee
Fine-tuned mind does not depend
On special times to apprehend
Nor arranging exact right space
But openness to present grace
After those concerns in busyness
Retire to inner consciousness
Mind’s states like a bird in flight
Taken to air from sudden fright
Or serenely soar above all threats
Against blue skies as silhouettes
Be receptive, ever more aware
In quietude thy strength is there
Stop - hear the still small voice
Right now to access awareness
Of divinely filled spiritual good
Illumined by our own Godhood
Prayer
Lord of my soul open my heart ever wider that it may ever be in a state of grace and recipient of thy abundant love. Grant that I may not hesitate with excuses of ideal times and places for these are established by our sacred rendezvous.
