Can songs of love truly tell
Of feelings inexpressible?
To capture in a verse or song
When love’s madness comes along
Enduring love cannot afford
To have a motive as reward
For love is patient, love is kind
No place for selfishness to find
Pure love has pure trust no doubt
Steady when storms are about
Love knows no other rival claim
Hearts same, no second to blame
Prayer
O Lord, all my prayers are bargaining as if you were a supply agent. You alone know my needs. You are my inner controller. Grant me only pure love for thee. Grant that I may love Thee with all my heart, soul, mind and strength, for nothing compares to Your love for me.
