Vibrations tuned reach the ear
Tingling joy like ocean swell
As music plays in every cell
Rhythmic drums vibrate to core
Matching beats at heart’s door
Breaking waves reach the shore
And life breath fills for evermore
Oscillating strands pulled tight
Doubts and fears do overwrite
Tug on heartstrings to express
Feelings that we would oppress
Undulations set a frequency
Combining, rising ceaselessly
From the subtle sound of Word
To whispers the ears have heard
Prayer
O Lord I hear Your voice in the silent stillness of the heart. May my heart always beat with Yours. At times when I carelessly allow a cacophony of noise, let me stand poised in Your still Being.
