Thought

So dark the night with no reprieve

When soul is steeped in deep despair

When friend is gone no more to see

Vast nothing found nor light to dawn

Inward black when seen can lift

In offered tears spent overnight

Yearning heart touched by grace

Is warmed at last by infilled love

Prayers are now expressed for all

Afflicted by dark night of soul

And those in torture inwardly

That smiling eyes may open up

Sharing thus aura of bliss

No energy is spent amiss

Prayer

O Lord, dwelling in Thy company floods me with peace, wisdom and bliss that eclipses all sorrows. May Thy fullness overflow to all leaving an air of optimism, faith and love.
