What activity in foreign lands make bold?

Beloved put in market place?

Where smelling fish are bought and sold

Along with Holy name and face?

Should we auction our Ideal away

Offered to the highest bid?

Put dearest one on cheap display?

Packaged with a box and lid?

The answer rings out crystal clear

Keep precious one in sacred heart

His holy presence will appear

In crafted phrases truth impart

No cult of personality made

No competing flags are raised

No saviour to be misunderstood

His Truth spreads in the neighbourhood

Prayer

Lord make me thy instrument of love that never imposes but always adapts. May Thy will be done. Grant that I may take the path of least resistance and the non-competitive gap so that thy glory shines without the obstacle of my small ego.
