Can wedding guests fast?
Amidst the hosts still there
With tables laden for repast
With feast for all to share
Every day a feast awaits
On which the eyes alight
Nature provides the plates
On which to peck or bite
Whatever the daily round
Birth and death will come
Make use of what is found
Great power is in each one
Great power to do anything
Believe you’re ever strong
Power to change everything
It was within you all along
Prayer
O Lord, my own innermost power. Infinite strength like a deep reservoir awaits my access. Thou art my shield and sword – thou art that power that lies within me and all.
