Thought
What power stirs in breaths?
Same that whips up winds
What power falls from our lips?
Same destroys or guides ships
What pumps a throbbing heart?
Same that sits in pulsing sun
What moves hands and feet?
Same that generates the heat
Who appeases Mother’s whims
Only those who treasure her
Mighty power no one can hold
For by her will we are controlled
All desires she grants to those
Who adored and who she chose
Purity child’s gift compressed
Every female’s Her expressed
Prayer
O glorious Mother bedecked in autumn colours, may I ever be Thy child; may I sit on Thy lap and ride the winds with Thee.
