Thought
The flow of grace is not bought
Acquired not by prayer or thought
Already we swim within its water
Nothing to fetch, receive or alter
Just as water closes in behind
A diving man, so too the mind
Surging forward waves enclose
Around his head, arms and toes
Controller of attention rod are you
Not bird enslaved in cage enclosed
Diverting rod from ego’s place
Rushing forward comes the grace.
Prayer
O Divine and ever present grace, I bathe in Thy glory as I open my heart for Thee to feely flow. My heart sings with joy as I swim in grace.
