Seen as swiftly passing train
Future’s misty window peek
Expectant look nerves will strain
Take packaged time - use it now
Energy apply in every hour
Don’t worry for the future how?
The present holds future’s power
Prayer
O Lord grant that I may appreciate your gift of the now. I ask not for tomorrow and its needs; keep me my Lord in purity just for today and just for this hour and in this second.
