Great saint what do you see?
Amidst troubles here beset.
Humble simple lonely tree
Refuge to those under threat
Those not learning from a past
Doomed to repeat tragedies
Building things that won’t last
More sad suffering refugees
Open windows for fresh air
Renew our global oneness found
New hope for all those in despair
Revere earth’s holy sacred ground
Remove division’s dividedness
Swords into ploughshares make
Forget refinements and finesse
Erase the bad for goodness sake
Prayer
O Lord allow us to catch the fresh breeze of Thy grace. With renewed strength let us see the world as Thou sees it. Grant us the faith of thy balancing power that restores all things once the storm has passed.
