I will now lose everything
Dying man says woefully
Bank account, golden ring
Family home built carefully
Loved ones, family depleted
Wintry days, summer green
My bucket list not completed
None again will ‘ere be seen
Reward is not in outer scheme
To gain, one thing is left to lose
Let go and let in faith’s stream
Lose yourself - have everything
Lose yourself in tearful songs
Lose yourself in rapture breath
Lose yourself where “I” belongs
Lose yourself there is no death
If in God you are not bound
Visit now the lost and found

O Lord grant that I may let go completely and lose myself in Thee.
