Gestures of kindness expressed
Palms joined will time arrest
Decorated fingers jewelled rings
Receiving plates for offerings
Thus, hands used to give or grasp
Sends emotions and fists to clasp
Busy deft fingers knit and weave
Hold fast and desperately cleave
Open not begging hands conduct
Life’s orchestral notes construct
Let go surrender arms complete
Flowing grace in hands and feet
Manipulated digits for our needs
Can be used to tell our beads
More we diminish more decrease
The more we get and gain increase
Prayer
O Lord I offer my hands and all to Thee for they are yours and always were. What joy there is to feel flowing energy surging through every hand and foot and head. Every moving part is developed and infused with Thee.
