Sparking flash, atomic beads
Universe is made of these
Vibrations swift in unseen sea
Even microscopes can’t see
Spaced light packets far out there
If time is equal go nowhere
Energy and matter are the same
Wind in and push atomic chain
Where and when uncertainty
So there’s no fixed reality
Appearance once defies all probes
Ghosts arrayed in transparent robes
Strange entangled friends that meet
Principles of space and time defeat
The solid world of “vanishing cream”
Applied from Lord’s projected dream
Prayer
O Lord why do I take this waking world so seriously? Deceive me not Lord. Human intelligence has seen through Thy veil, yet even so is still deceived. Grant that I may see the worlds as you do and delight in Thy cosmic play, dancing together as atoms do.
