Graceful gliding swans of white
Beautiful shimmering forms unite
To mirrored ripple images bright
Reflected twins in morning light
Golden beaks and gleaming eyes
Greet the golden dawn sunrise
Soft feathered wings to body’s boat
Shapely neck curved to the throat
Bowing heads in praising psalm
Dipping down in perfect calm
Peace and poise did angels make
As swans that glide on glassy lake
As solar swan and souls traverse
The many worlds and universe
Source of fire and lightning speed
In space no other can exceed
Visions true like wings unfold
Lead mind to its cause untold
Prayer
O Lord may my mind easily glide to your blissful base from your presented forms that elevate and teach. Let me not dismiss as ordinary the familiar in the waking world; let me see through your eyes the beauty and glory that are thee.
