Thought
Ancient man discovered fire
Worshipping it fulfilled desire
Embers to cook, kept spirits high
In rains and cold they kept him dry
Now far away from sheltering caves
After mastering the winds and waves
Tides and gravity were enslaved
For trade and travel roads were paved
After this, shall harness for God
Powerfully shifting flames of love
For history’s second time transpire
Man will again discover fire
Prayer
O Lord I discover only what you reveal. Please stoke the burning flames of love in me until my heart bursts with fiery passion and spreads to all mankind so that it may smelt us all in golden oneness.
